I bought these 2 1/18 broken models to do up . I thought I would try doing a bit of detailing on the Lotus 49 . The spark plug leads look more like jump leads! The Williams I might change to Damon Hills and put Rothmans on it . I am making a driver .

Gusty wind seems to have died down but went for a 4 mile walk which was probably easily the equivalent of a 12 mile bike ride

My birthday was on the 4th.But today we go out for the meal.Surpise surprise at 15-00 with afternoon coffee out came this specially made chocolate and orange cake.oh my it's wonderful.

Given I might be on ITV this evening I've washed the prize car I won as it's filthy. Don't want it getting about that I've neglected the thing.

Washed = bucket, sponge and Carplan wash/wax. I do live in Yorkshire

I have the Damon Hill (number 5) version of the Williams complete with driver, but it only has the little blocks and not the Rothmans branding.

In other news, there were a couple of light sprinkes of rain while I was out on a bike ride earlier. The blue sky never made it to where I was.

Washing was 80 dry when we bought it in of the line and just as we walked in the house it rained so good timing

I bought MrsPete a rather large Toblerone for Valentines Day.. (romantic, I know 😂)

It turns out that it's too big to fit and I can't find my Toffee Hammer anywhere to wallop it into bite-size pieces!

Spent most of the afternoon fighting with the Bank of Scotland internet banking with no success.
Fortunately I also have a Virgin Money a/c with enough in it to pay the bill so that worked ok but then I tried to transfer some from B of S to Virgin to make it up again and failed completely.
If you are ever tempted to get a B of S internet a/c my advice is certainly do not even think about it.
I used B of S internet banking to pay contractors doing renovations in a flat in Aberdeen which worked ok but the system has now got so secure you cannot use it for anything.
I wil need to change my working account to B of S to try to build up the Virgin one which was my working account.
Be warned.
