It's a very damp underfoot day outside
Kettle is on

In the time it's taken for the kettle to boil and the tea to brew it's almost gone white over , so glad not got to commute to work outside

Did the "Medium" commute today as I was a bit short on time. It's a little damp but nothing serious.

I cycled past my previous employer and got several waves from some former clients. One even remembered my name which considering the turnover of staff they have surprised me; according to another former client my replacement lasted less than six months and they've had two more in the year since then.

The new plan to speed up HS2 will be to divert it to Heathrow airport where passengers will be able to catch a plane to East Midlands , Leeds or Manchester !

Our black bin is still kerbside as collections were cancelled yesterday due to the weather

Oh look, an amber warning for snow, and people still go for an unnecessary drive and get stuck. Then contact radio stations wondering why!

I do that as a matter of course if I have to drop the car off at the garage in the village. I think I'm the only customer that does it, much to the amusement of the mechanics, but it's so much easier than either a) walking home or b) cadging a lift

I’m the same unless I expect the work to be less than an hour; in which case I just go for a leg stretch.

A fair bit of snows come down last night and it's still coming down. No chance of getting of our street this morning I've cleared the street before now. Mrs 73 can work from home and is already phoning round see if everyones ok. She got some visits latter see how it go's may get the RRV out and drive her round. School closed no work for me so no pay either

Still snowing, but slowing down a bit, now. Our side road doesn't look too good, but the bigger one at the end looks OK.
