I enjoyed that and glad I went. Two forty minute one act plays by a local writer. The first one was very funny and an interesting idea.

There's a lot of things coming up in the next few weeks actually.

15 seconds per revolution. Slowest speed yet.

Joint slowest...
Surely everyone times the rotational speed of the glass plate inside their microwave? I know that if I put my cup in the microwave it will do one full rotation per 15 seconds. Where it gets really exciting is when you don't want a multiple of 15 seconds, I can put my cup in the microwave having calculated the correct displacement. Of course, because of the type of motor used in microwaves they can rotate in either direction on a random basis, so I think " do you feel lucky punk " as I press the start button...

work makes me want to pull my hair out, but I don't have much to spare

I'd jump out my office window, but it's not high enough, to achieve any results

The world of photography has not changed much, in my absence, I see.

Roit, just thinking about how I should proceed in restoring that 'Humber heap of bike', which I have had for years in the loft.

I now learn that it is from 1926 (thanks to the VCC). I knew it was rather old as I was originally told it was even older when I bought it, but 1926 is good enough and I might even get it back to it's former glory for it's 100th Birthday year! :birthday::bravo::hyper::hyper:

They think it is either a 'Humber Olympia' (pretty name) or a 'Humber Popular' (rubbish and unimaginative name. It also makes it sound dead common (how VERY dare it!!). If it is a 'Popular', then I may just have to abandon it out of shame, 96/97 years old or not! 😆).

ANNNYway, I enquired about this years ago but things never happened, so does anyone know if the guy who builds wheels in Southampton is still around?
The original wheels apparently rusted away years ago from neglect.
I could just buy new 28 inch wheels, but I wanted something a bit more special and specific.

Yes I've neglected the poor thing too by never getting around to restoring it, partly due to life getting in the way and also me not knowing quite what it actually was, but now, now it's time has (hopefully) finally come!

Anyway, that is all.
