Back from the vets 🐶.
Problem diagnosed and prescription issued and my wallet is £90 lighter...

Out for a ride to recover from the shock now 😂

Could be worse ours is on meds @ £100 a month luckily most of the time insurance covers it.

I am almost 63, but you hardly see a flat cap in The States, so it may not have the same connotations. In warmer weather, I tend to wear Hawaiian shirts and the old boonie hat. May be the reason I work at a job requiring a uniform.

I’ve just started wearing one instead of my baseball cap Be warned a flat cap you’ll be fighting the older ladies off
Have yet to experience this myself.😢😢😢

A bright and sunny day here chez Casa Reynard, a bit chilly, but the sun has real warmth to it.

Slept well, but had a really odd dream about cooking. I have had a quiet morning spent writing in the company of Madam Poppy. Madam Lexi has decided that she prefers the garden while the weather is clement. I have had to take half an antihistamine as, thanks to the tree pollen, I have itchy eyes and the sneezies.

Need to drop off the parental's prescription this afternoon to avoid any issues with collecting it later in the week. Might also go and look for some pussy willow to pop in a vase. Maybe I can grow some kittens?

Anyways, it is time for luncheon.

Afternoon ?
It is nice and sunny here now . Warm in the sunshine but cold when it goes behind the clouds . I went for a ride with a friend this morning . We waited 1/4 of an hour for another friend to turn up but gave up waiting as we were getting cold. I rang our other friend when I got back . He thought I meant tomorrow!
We had a good fast ride going along at 14 to 15 mph . We encountered a bit of flooding at Redbridge but managed to cycle through it without getting wet. We did 12 miles .

Happy birthday to Rockyroller.

Nice sunny day but a very brisk southerly wind.
Out on trike to Loch na Keal about 12 miles away. Strong wind and pretty cold.
Fourteen vehicles at the Ben More parking spot so pretty crowded up there which is not uncommon in good weather.
Most parking spots already filled by campers and motorhomes and the newish menace of guided tours.
They stop anywhere they see anything and ignore traffic building up behind.
I had severe words with one lot in two motorhomes parked in a whole passing place. An oncoming car and myself had to do some inventive manoeuvring to pass just at that spot.
This may well be my only visit this year unless I get up really early as traffic levels are too high for comfort.
We used to get one car every five minutes but now more like five cars per minute and it is still only very early April.
Not that I hate tourists. In moderation as we used to have they were fine but now turned into a plague.
Anyway here is a photo looking past the Gribun Cliffs which was one of or favourite diving spots.
