Dull weather still and threat of rain.
Don't have anything planned but usually get involved in something which takes up a lot of time.
The Calmac fiasco rumbles on.
Text message just in tells me no foot passengers will be allowed on board unless prebooked.
Lots of unhappy people who have been told their Oban-Craignure ferry is cancelled and go via Fort William which is a diversion of well over 100 miles. This would be a bit less if the Corran ferry was running.
Craignure office are thanking people for not shouting at them as the Oban office staff are getting lots of abuse apparently but Mull passengers are mostly polite and understanding.
They have invited higher management to come out and face the public but they have gone into hiding apparently.
All this of course is caused by the tourist industry which has sprung up and invited unmanageable hordes to come to all sorts of previously peaceful areas.
I have been here for over 50 years and the number and type of tourists has changed massively in that time.

Ebike this am as normal for a free TV guide aka The Times from Waitrose. Got home and found my missing since Christmas wine bottle stoppers on the kitchen worktop. Had been convinced they had gone down the back of cupboard. Must have been lurking inside something or other.

Well done so we did the same then as I did 51 road bike miles in glorious conditions although the first 10 pr so were done with a slight haze that burned off .
