Itching to get back on my bike's
Location
Northamptonshire
Been awake since just after 3am so decided it's time for a ride

Morning.
It is greyish with bits of cream and blue showing through here today . The cars are wet so it looks like we have had some rain in the night . We left the washing out yesterday as it hadn't dried and was even wetter after the drizzle . I wonder how wet it is now ?
Georgie almost caught the Wood Pigeon that was scoffing the bird food in the feeder. He leapt up at it as it was about to fly off. He made contact! The holes are too big and they have found a way in . I was going to partially block them off but didn't get round to it yesterday.

Good morning from a grey, breezy and occasionally damp Suffolk. Part way through the first cuppa of the day after a good night's sleep and it looks like I've still got time to make it to Brands Hatch without missing too much of the action.

Cold wet and windy. Thundery showers forecast for the next two days.

Calmac seems to be affected by some voodoo or something.
The first three and possibly four morning ferry sailings are cancelled due to crew shortages on one of the particularly busy days at the start of the school holidays here.
To cap that the food bar at Fishnish run by settlers has announced that they will not bother opening today.
Long queues likely and lots of people wanting hot drinks at least and probably some food as well so cannot be bothered opening.
You could not make it up.
I still blame the tourist industry for putting too much pressure on the system. It is all very well saying increase the capacity but at what cost and how long will this last?

Maybe they're fed up of being moaned at, so decided to see what folk do when they're not open for one day.
Maybe it's shut for personal reasons, they or a family member is ill. It does happen now and again.

Pretty windy with spells of sun and occasionally drizzle accounting for the predicted 40% rain tisk so the ebike excused again. In any case had to take an old carpet cleaner and SD Freesat box to the recycling site. Both now well dead as I had dismantled them for any reusable bits - screws, bolts, nuts etc. It's sometimes amazing the sheer number that can be found.

It's about as damp as it can get without actually raining. Unless dry rain exists, in which case it's raining dryly.

I started on black tea this morning and the coffee is now below par. My options are to start on coffee or experimenting with putting milk into my tea (I started drinking it without milk as part of an intermittent fasting survey).
