I think I'll give it another 15 minutes before I go out - it's got much darker and the rain radar is showing a fair bit of wetness nearby.

Could you pick me up a couple of pints whilst you are there please?
Actually, a running joke in our house was my sister always phoning up my parents to buy some milk, usually whilst on the way home from somewhere.

She appeared to use milk up but not replace it, because she never drank tea or coffee, so if we had been away somewhere and she was home, there often wouldn't be any on our return. It got to such a point that even if we were watching the telly or a film and somebody answered a phone in it, we'd invariably blurt out

"Can you get some milk?"

Especially if they had been on a long journey or had been rescued from somewhere and were on the way home/back, or some other faintly ridiculous scenario.

"Eh Apollo 13, Houston, we have a message here for Jim... Can you buy some milk?" 🤣

just changed my shoes. mundane enough?

A mostly bright and sunny day here chez Casa Reynard, but with a biting and blustery northerly breeze.

Slept well. Have had a quiet day writing and watching the snooker, although I have also laundered my white coat. That is hanging upstairs to dry. Too much chance of bird poopage to want to hang it outside.

The scratches I picked up on Saturday thanks to a shirty entire BSH are healing nicely, no sign of any infection thank goodness. Only one of them is still quite painful, but it was pretty deep. Another judge got bit by a car a couple of pens down.

Now sat down with a chocolate muffin and a :cuppa:

I now have a nearly complete, self assembly, kit for a Raleigh Sport 300.
The garage has been full of neat piles of various parts and assemblies. Mostly reassembled after cleaning and inspection

Bits are on order. Assorted ball bearings and bits to service (fix) the cassette.
No idea how old the chain is. Also lack the means to quickly see how worn it is.
