Treated myself to about 40 mins of reading while sat out in a sheltered sunny spot, and after, I did some more grass cutting. Did the bank along the drain that goes around three sides of the garden - the drainage board are supposed to keep it under control, but the reality is that they only do it once a year about November-ish. Anyways, it looks good now that it's done.

Now sat down with a :cuppa: and a biskit.
I will admire your handiwork as I pass by on the train on the way out Friday afternoon and home on Saturday afternoon ^_^

Lovely supper of curry (carrot, onion & red lentil dhal), rice, and mint raita.

Since supper was a poppity ping job, I prepped some fruit for a late night jam-making session. The very last of my Murfitt's Seedling cookers were in real need of using up, so I've gone for an apple & apricot jam, using one part apple and one part apricot. The latter is a mix of canned (in juice) and dried. The fruit is cooked, I've just added the sugar, and then I shall do the actual jam making after I've watched the evening news.

Hope it meets your approval!

You won't fail to notice the abundance of elderflower blossom along the treeline. I got thoroughly coated in the pollen cutting under them - my pink fleece turned yellow...

P.S. Safe journeying, and enjoy the gig xxx

Quite right too. Who wants loud fast food in the bar?
