I used this one a couple of weeks ago
Before wearing the boots for longer than walking around the shop in as they really painful

Mountain warehouse boots and shoes can be a bit hit and miss. I bought a really expensive pair about seven or eight years ago, and until I broke them in, they gave me horrendous blisters. And yeah, they were comfy in the shop... But once I *did* break them in, they've been actually really comfortable, but far better for grass and unpaved surfaces as opposed to what I wanted them for i.e. urban walking. I found a pair of Merells in Decathlon for that...

Picked up another pair of boots (mucho cheaper than the above) in January from Mountain Warehouse (not many options in Ely if you don't want to travel) and they've been good to go right away, no complaints there. And no blisters. Albeit the soles are thinner, so will need to get some cushioned insoles.

I think that those mutant cats should be banned. I don't like it when people mess about with animals. The people that do it should get life prison sentences.

Which breed are you talking about?

They only sell their own brand which was surprising.
I have gone back to some Merrells for now but I do need a new pair

.... because the dispensing pharmist had not arrived. Took up the offer to have the prescription delivered. After lunch I said having work visits to do.
A rare anti clockwise route which did make me have to think where I was going in a couple of places.
5pm and no sign of the prescription. Rang up to find it hadn't left yet so cancelled the delivery and went back for them en route to Sainsbury's.
20% off clothing, picked a £6 T shirt which on the hand scanner said £4! Then picked up two which were labelled as 2 for £8 but the hand scanner now said all 3 were £4.14 each  Cancelled and returned the last two at which point the original reverted to £4. On the bill it's down as £5 originally.
Another bulk purchase of cheaper Freefrom.

Ever woken fron an afternoon nap thinking you'd just been out for 5 minutes only to look at your watch and realise it was over half an hour!

Other than the hour & a half out earlier for the delivery & shopping, all I've done today has been a a lot of listening to the radio inbetween bits of internetting and reading. For some reason I just had a complete lack of energy so for the latter part of the afternoon I parked my backside on the sofa with the Kindle, Chromebook and a pint of squash to hand on the table. Needed that.

Another magnificent day, but back to work today, unfortunately. I didn't feel yesterday's long ride as much as I thought I would. Some sort of fitness must be returning.

The online GP approved my prescription request for more of the mild steroid nasal spray that keeps my sinuses under control, and gave it for another six months. Collected it from the chemist on my way home from work. Why do they always lose it and never have it ready even though it's emailed to them!

The rainy season is supposed to start tomorrow, so I escaped for a drive to the beach and a walk and sitting watching the sun set. The only problem with this good weather is that even my normally empty "personal" beach attracts people!
