Morning all.
Hard rain her through the night and light drizzle now.
1st cuppa tea of the day

Normally I wouldn't have minded a 23 miler but having looked in my diary I haven't done much riding for over 2 weeks due to medical tests and the grapes of wrath. I'm surprised that I managed to stay in the saddle but it has settled down now. In future routes are going to have to be discussed beforehand if they are going to be over 12 miles.

Woke up earlier to rain, so decided to delay the dog walk if it was still raining when the alarm went off. It was, so went back to bed. Still raining now but looks like should stop in 5min or so.

Good morning from a grey, wet & miserable Suffolk. Don't think I'll be going anywhere for a while unless I dig out the waterproofs.

A very strong coffee has been had to use up the last of the pack.

Stuck in a hotel on the outskirts of Cardiff. Very pleasant but not my plan for a free morning in my Alma Mater.
Reflecting on taking the bus into town to explore. And get wet and possibly nostalgic.

Its that special rain that looks mild but persists and gets through eventually. Also I've only got one pair of shoes, not remotely waterproof.

I've read all my emails, even replied to some. Emptied the junk mails and so on
Paid the credit card.
Even tidied bits of my address book.

This is boredom, not just ordinary boredom .......

A couple of supermarket 10p carrier bags would make for waterproof shoe covers...stylish too
