How do you boot a new phone, charged, but locked with an unknown PIN number?


Got my brother a new phone delivered.
"Don't touch it until I'm there" He was a cabinet maker and not much with anything electrical or complicated.

Arrive at his. New phone is out of box, charger attached and switched on. Nice screen saver selected and so on.

Also a message demanding the pin code in order to proceed!

M What's the pin code?
H What's a pin code?
M The one you need to open the phone
H Do you? Don't know. I couldn't get it to work
M You will need the SIM card.
H What's that?

Light grey and damp here.
Georgie brought in a friend last night. It was a very small mouse. It was in the living room but he managed to catch it. I chased him into the kitchen where he lost it again. Georgie has been in this morning to have his breakfast but hasn't been looking for his mouse so I assume that he must have caught it.
It's raining!
I need to buy some parts for our Venga. A brake light switch and a tractor end.

Flippin internet rubbish is dancing all over the place! Our new TV can't decide what channel I've selected. My tablet has to wait until all of the planets in the solar system line up before a keyboard will appear on this site to allow me to say anything.

Morning all, grey and wet here but the bike was loaded in the VeeDub with a positive intention that I'll be heading out for a ride after work this afternoon.
1st cuppa of the day, time to tune in to Planet Rock and get stuff done

Good morning from Suffolk where, up to a couple of minutes ago, it had been a grey, overcast but dry start to the day, but it's just started 🌧️🌧️again.
Coffee has been had, another gig ticket has been purchased, another hotel room booked and more train tickets ordered.

Washing machine is doing its thing. Given the way the weather's swapping between cloud, rain and sunshine I think this load can go on the clothes horse in the spare room to dry.

When applying bio freeze (other muscle ache relief gels are available) to an affected area, make sure to wash your hands thoroughly afterwards and before eating anything, currently have a tingling upper lip
Add that to very itchy eyes and it's quite the eventful morning!

Two lots of shredding done one lot in the compost bin the other in the green recycling bin.

Ordered a new switch £40+. It is a new lower balljoint and not the trackrod end! So I've ordered a new lower wishbone. £78.
It looks like * will be having fun soon fitting these parts.
