Finished Chapter 27 of my novel.

Chapter has been printed out and added to the hardcopy manuscript that I like to have on hand. Have spotted a few minor errors (typo / punctuation) but then this is a first draft after all, and I'm using an app that doesn't have spelling or grammar tools.

Hopefully filed alphabetically by artist and, where you've got more than one album for an artist, by release date.

Just alphabetically. That'll do.

I took what the local shop had in small bottles, as I don't want to be lugging a full bottle of whisky around.

I've popped the doormats into the washing machine. They were starting to look a bit grubby.

Slight drizzle here but it's clear up. Time to go out for a walk before going to Springbank.

I'm pondering on how things have changed. There's a squeaky clean ashtray sitting on a table outside, and just over 12 hours since my arrival, it remains unused despite the presence of quite a few other guests. Smoking really has gone out of fashion.
