If you are making a crumble to send to me, can you leave out the rhubarb please?

I have been told that rhubarb, grapefruit and spinach are foods I cannot eat, as they affect the medication I am taking. Is rhubarb full of sugar? Grapefruit too acidic?

Ok will pop it over the fence

I don't know why, but today had all the feeling of a Sunday rather than a Saturday.

Thanks to the weather and having mainly indoor day, I have a much tidier than before grade 4 all over haircut which was tested for aerodynamic properties with an hour's bike ride before the last rain shower of the day arrived.
It's now time for this evening's hot chocolate.

There are a few things I am not allowed to eat. I am allowed alcohol, but my consumption of that is very low anyway, comprising of the odd teeny tiny glass of Port.

It's been a very soggy and squelchy day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well. Spent the morning writing, as going outside was not advisable. It remained unadvisable until about half three, whereupon I went out to Tesco to get the groceries in.

Tesco was plagued with an electrical issue that meant that most of the tills were fubared, along with half of their fridges. The chap on the till told me that they've had to bin around £12,500-worth of stock overnight. As a result though, the chilled YS cabinet was absolutely rammed, and it was a right scrum there. Although most of it was stuff I didn't want or didn't need. I do kind of regret leaving the whole duck behind, but I really don't need any poultry right now...

I did pick up a 1kg "finest" smoked gammon for £4.22 on sticker, as well as four mangoes, a large bag of new potatoes and a four pack of kitchen roll.

Only two bunches of white roses in store, but one was really manky and the other had several blooms missing, so left those behind and dropped into Waitrose on the way home. Only one large bunch, a little more blown than I'd like, but they'll do me for Monday. It's better than wasting time and effort going back out tomorrow.

Sausage sandwich and a :cuppa: for supper.

Lovely evening watching the football. What a banging game for the neutral.
