It's replacing the old doormat in front of the flat, which was hairy and moulting: when I cleaned the corridor, half of the dirt was hairs from the mat.

On the matter of teapots, these cyclists look like they're going the wrong way to me. Every time you pour the tea they have to go uphill and pouring tea shouldn't be hard work. They must be track cyclists.

Do they cycle around the teapot to the other side? If so, they'll be racing towards the spout which would look better.. 👍

A rare weekend where Mrs CK was not working and I was not working or cycling ( resting the knee) so we had a trip to skeg Vegas and stayed in a b&b overnight.the kids enjoyed the rides but otherwise you wouldn't catch me here as I don't like rides . Yesterday started out badly with mini CK 1 having a breakdown before we even left the house and Mrs CK had a strop on most of the day.

Good morning from a bright and very breezy Suffolk. The slow weekend continues - coffee and a long lie in with the radio in the background have been had.

At some point i need to go out and get a loaf of bread (the rest of the shopping can wait until Monday) and that's about it for the day with the possible exception of cutting the grass if I can be bothered.

It looks like summer's having a final gasp today. 25C predicted but it looks like there's a high bank of cloud moving in so it might not reach that. I almost packed my shorts away till next year but they'll get another outing today.
