It's been a warm and occasionally sunny day here chez Casa Reynard.
Slept well. Had a choresy morning. Did a load of laundry, made a batch of apple sauce, took some bits out of the freezer, watered all the planters, that sort of stuff.
Lovely luncheon of a chunk of wholegrain baguette, montagnolo cheese, an apple and a
After, did a bit of tinkering in the garage. Then dropped off some gnocchi and crumble for a friend, and went to the community orchard on the way home. Annoyingly, most of the good blackberries had gone over since I was in there last week, so it was hard work to pick just one small 300g tub. I did though, pick another basket of Thoday's Quarrendon apples, as there's loads and no one really seems to be picking them. A real shame to see so many on the ground, as they are SUCH a nice dessert apple. And they keep well, too.
Plan on a quiet evening watching the football and then the Sewing Bee on catch up.
Cat has been fed, and soon it will be time to feed me.
