Time to walk the dog 🐶

Just had a wedding drive past; there's a venue in the village which is pretty popular.

In Germany there's often a procession which drives from church to reception with horns blaring, so you know they're there. On top of that, this one was preceded by about 30 odd motorcyclists who filled the road on some exceptionally expensive looking bikes. I don't know how they all squeezed into the road to the venue, especially as our local station is at the other end...

A lovely day again. Such a contrast to the past few weeks.

Work finished for the week. I probably should have went for a ride and enjoyed the good weather but I drove to the beach and had a walk and fish and chips as a birthday present to myself!

It is culture night tonight, so I went to some of the events in the town park. Usually, I'd be a volunteer but some sort of row between the different arts councils meant we were not asked for our services this year.

Time to relax now.

Birthy hapday!

My niece just got married, I learned today. Secretly, by helicopter into a mountain range, honeymoon under canvas and then they paraglided home. As you do....

That Kildunne is a is a fabulous rugby player!

A warm, grey and blustery day here chez Casa Reynard, with a few miserable attempts at rain.

Slept well, but woke up with the trots again. I suspect there's a bug doing the rounds as I've felt rather meh again today. As a result, I've only done the bare minimum. Athletics, 3-day eventing and rugby has been watched.

I have also done some writing.

Probably will cook something for supper rather than doing some sandwiches. There are enough bits in the fridge to make a simple meal.
