Selected potted plants warered. Hope the new clematis will be okay. Its instructions say to give a half a watering can of water until established. Its in a trough, it will be floating with that much!

Clematis do better in the ground, they root deep like a lot of climbing plants

A bright, sunny but somewhat chilly day here chez Casa Reynard.

Sleep wasn't great. Still feeling rather under-the-weather. The trots are back, and I'm really chesty. So I've had a quiet day mostly making up the writing I didn't do over the weekend. I did have to pop out to the quack to pick up the parental's prescription.

Madam Lexi is also not feeling terribly chipper.

A quiet evening is planned.

Whilst browsing in Go Outdoors admiring all the stuff I didn't know I didn't need . I came across a fancy brand of ready meal which stated in the preparation advice / instructions about heating in a billy of hot water - '...discard the hot water after use..'
As any squaddie will tell you, no, you use that hot water for your brew. :okay:
A waste of resources - !

Had one on the trough for 12 years until it got clematis rot. This one only grows to 2m so should be okay.

If it's 2 Metres in the air it'll root a metre deep

Well, I had a bit of a wander around Whitstable harbour and seafront and then back among the numerous alleys and side roads. There was an enormous amount of air rushing to get to the front of the queue for something happening inland. Even the water was getting involved in the excitement.
