Lovely day, bit cooler than it had been but lovely clear skies and all autumnal colours. Completed around forty miles in glorious Technicolor this morning/afternoon.

I had made some repairs to the front brakes on my Townsend as they weren't centering properly. I removed the cantilever arms and cleaned and greased the bushes and normal service has been resumed. This bike got soaked in salt spray en route to Inishbofin Island a while back,and has suffered with corrosion and things sticking ever since. No idea why the ferry staff put bikes up where they get washed by bow waves when there were plenty of better places to store them.

Now out for some live music 🎵
