A grey and cool day with outbursts of rain here chez Casa Reynard, though it is now dry.
Did not sleep well - my back has decided to protest much of the last week's lumberjilling, and I just couldn't get comfortable. That said, a quiet day was planned anyway. Beyond the basics (litter trays, grate, firewood bins and putting away yesterday's non-fridgeable shopping), I have done diddly squat.
Had a lovely luncheon of crusty bread and the last of the gammon. There's still a bit of fat left, which I will use to fry some onions later.
Spent the afternoon watching horseracing and listening to the sprint from Losail and commentary from the various football fixtures. I also dipped into the snooker.
Currently sat with a
and a couple of biskits.

. All built and looks decent. It was advertised on a popular auction site as 'grade B' and used, so marked, but a completely new chair came in the box for a third of the retail price.
