Mrs P has been made redundant.our son and daughter have told her they will cook the xmas dinner.So chrissie eve we will prep all veg,then leave it up to them.I hope i get the sack from washing up.Anyway i have been informed i can make the gravy out of left over wine.What is left over wine.

Dressings? It's whatever the Minor Injuries unit slapped on last Wednesday. Some kind of clear gel thing, then two thicknesses of sterile cotton padding, and a fairly standard compression bandage over that. And covered with a length of tubigrip. It's all starting to look a bit cockeye, especially where I've been sticking my fingers in to scratch!

I've got an appointment this Saturday to have the stitches removed and the dressing changed - that's the earliest I could get anywhere locally.

Right i've an idea what you mean, will see what Mrs 73 can suggest tomorrow.

Just ordered some PJ's for Mrs 73 turns out it's only for the top and not the bottoms. So just had to order a different pair that are a set , the other one will have to go back once I've collected both.

Two boxes of christmas baubles dragged out of the loft but hooks pretty scarce. The Range, Morrisons and Sainsbury's all came up blank. Did a very small shop in Morrisons and a slightly bigger one in Sainsbury's where the hazards of using a hand scanner arose.
There's will not scan reducations and you have to scan them at the checkout. Driving away I suddenly remembered the half price Yule log which not only had I not taken out of the trolley but also had not scanned. Probably some well meaning customer has now desposited it at customer services on the basis someone who had paid forgot it

Bob, the cat, will be thirteen in January. He is very vocal aka non-stop squeaks starting late in the evening.

I had assumed it was because he was hungry, and fed him (two or three times). The squawky squeaks continue. Has he forgotten how to tell me he wants to go out?

He might eventually settle down, but then wants to sleep on my bed. Bearing in mind his age, has anyone got any suggestions to discourage this late night noise/racket?

Could well be the onset of feline dementia. Excessive vocalization can be one of the symptoms. Talk to your vet, maybe? I know my vet has an online "ask the vet" chat thingy, which is rather useful.
