It's started raining again, although it looks like the very heavy stuff will be just to the west - fingers crossed.

Apart from a visit to see dad and stepmother on Friday or Saturday and collecting the flowers for mum's birthday on the 24th, that's me done. Bedding changed & washed, vacuuming done, kitchen floor swept, cards written & presents wrapped.

Time for a celebratory cuppa and then to put my feet up for a while.

The meeting with the cycling group went well this morning. It started tipping down at about 11 and has been since. I managed to get a lift home with a friend so I didn't get soaked.

It's been a murky and squelchy day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well, and actually overslept. Leg is continuing to improve, and the swelling and bruising I saw when taking the pressure dressing off has noticeably gone down. and it's oh-so-blissful to be able to reach down and scratch! Had a busy morning doing the usual chores in less time than usual! Whoops.

Christmas dinner trial worked fine, nothing burnt. Sainsbury's and Waitrose shopped wiith ham and wine key purchases for Christmas from the former, along with iced buns, and gammon with a pineapple and melon sauce from the latter. Also yellow label scones made cheaper by a 50p app voucher.
