That was surprise. Went to leave feedback for the RF remote set on eBay and found it saying a new phone case had been delivered. So it had, postie must have heen pretty quite. Gone for a clear one which makes the mobile look completely different compared to the black one it had. That had split by the power button.

It's a busy day here as there's very few track sessions this week.

Let's see if a week's road efforts have made any difference ...

Edit: 125 laps again, but this week mostly on the blue line so both further and faster. A bit. The 96" gearing felt easier this time.

Out for a 2.5 hour ride today. Picked up 3 postbox toppers.

went out w the cat. she was very excited. even rolling over on the steps. but when she ventured over to the stone wall she was shocked by howling wind. didn't take long before she agreed to go back inside. now she's glued to my lap & armpit, so I have to type this one handed

cleaners coming tomorrow, yeah New Year's Eve day. Wifey has been out of town 3 nites & I've relaxed my housekeeping, oops. also my car is in the shop & I emptied it into the house. so today's agenda is to clean enough so the cleaners can do their part

The council has started collection of people’s Christmas trees today. Surprised to hear that people would be taking down their decorations so soon. Ours will stay up until at least 3rd Jan.

An afternoon Toolstation - Tesco - B&Q - Aldi 3.8 mile trek. Thought I had ordered an USB extension cable to collect in Toolstation but it turned into either a landline phone or a hdmi extension. Refunded.
Tesco to use the facilities and another fruit juice plus chocolate digestives bought. USB leads were eye watering expensive and no extension.
B&Q less eye watering but still no extension
Definitely looks like eBay.
Aldi had the cheapest freefrom mince pies yet @14.5p each compared to Morrisons 25p each and Co-ops 28.25p each. Three packs bought all dated in February. Also a set of four scissors which triggered the age verification at the till.

I have washed my feet and treated them for an uncomfortable dose of athlete's foot.

Now I get to sanitise all my shoes. Then identify who provided the infection.

As well as all the other stuff on my to-do list.

Well that is one ailment i should not catch,i have not exercised in over two years.

Chilly, occasionally sunny and a few spots of drizzle from a rogue shower that made its way inland while I was out this afternoon. So much better than the gloom of yesterday.

One little bonus was that about 10 minutes after I got home mum & stepfather dropped by on their way home from the bowls club and donated a left over last quarter of a very gooey and chocolatey yule log. A most welcome and tasty post ride recovery snack.

There's a guy on Twitter complaining that his Hyundai Santa Fe refuses to reverse because it thinks that he's going to crash into his own bike rack.

I suppose he should be grateful that the software isn't programmed to maintain a minimum distance from the rack....

Sheer terror this morning. I had to push a shopping trolley round Sainsbury's this morning. She had fallen over and hurt her chest so found it difficult pushing one of those things.
The place was full of Zombies walking around aimlessly as if in a trance. They should also fit trollies with mirrors, indicators and brake lights. A beeper for when reversing.

USB extension lead duly ordered after much studying of eBay listings as once an increased length is selected the prices go up seemingly randomly..
Cottage pie still in the fridge as a Steak pie bought from Sainsbury's yesterday needed eating up first and accompanied in the oven by a frozen apple crumble that takes just 15 minutes longer
