Bright and blustery here, feels quite spring like. Snow drops can’t be far away now.

A much belated good morning from Suffolk as I'm having a very slow and lazy start to the day - even by my standards.

All that's to be done today is to go out shopping at some point for this week's food, but with grey overcast skies, a bit of a breeze and still damp underfoot from last night's rain there's no great hurry so another coffee and some toast will be had first.

Nice walk, slightly truncated as the café was closed, but good being out in temperatures above zero for a change!

I have heard that there may be a lot of disruption on the railways in Switzerland
There are large cats who block the tracks.
Should we warn @Andy in Germany?

I have managed to get my car working again after disconnecting the battery. I thought I was going to be locked out as the car had locked itself after I had disconnected the earth lead, the boot opens via an electric push button and the battery is in the boot. I bought a new battery in Halfords this morning and tried fitting it this afternoon. The key fob has a special key hidden inside it so that you can manually open the door locks. I connected up some jump leads to the new battery and to 2 terminals in the engine bay and managed to work the boot lock. Removing and fitting the new battery as the battery is extremely heavy. It has stopped starts! I don't use it in that mode. Once everything was connected the car started up without any trouble. That was a relief!
