It's been a mild but blustery day here chez Casa Reynard. A bright start but things gradually segued into greyness and then drizzle.
Did not sleep well, but that was down to female hormonal issues combined with a herd of heffalumps tap dancing on my midriff. The morning was spent doing all the usual chores. I also clipped Madam Boo's claws.

Then took advantage of the longer than expected dryness to do some bits in the garden. Trimmed / tidied up some downed branches that need turning into firewood. Did cut a couple of buckets of logs, but the rest is for another day. Should be a good couple of wheelbarrows worth of decent (and dry) logs.
After, popped out to Aldi as bread, milk and yoghurt was needed, and I wanted to get some bits for Madam Boo from their pet event. I had a snaccident with some tortilla chips, didn't buy anything from the middle aisle in the end as the scratch boards I wanted are actually too small. They're really only suitable for a kitten, not a five kilo plus tortie chonk. And I also picked up six jars of chocolate spread at 29p each in their clearance. I actually had chocolate spread on the Tesco shopping list, so that's a bonus.
Supper was a bitsas to use up as many of the leftovers as possible. So soup, haggis, loaded potato skins, fried onion and sweetcorn was had, finished off with a wedge of cinnamon bun. There's only two slices of haggis left now, so those will go for tomorrow's luncheon. And that's all the leftovers dealt with.
