I was looking at cheap tig welders last night. Always fancied getting one but they were too expensive at the time. I have a migraine welder which I've had for over 30 years. It has done quite a bit of work. It decided to throw a wobbly this week. The wire speed controller went awol, couldn't slow it down. It is being looked at.

Royal Mail bosses are expected to meet MP's next week but when they will arrive will be anyone's guess!

Good morning from Suffolk where it appears to be February again being dull, overcast and damp underfoot from overnight rain.

Coffee has been had while doing what Saturday mornings were designed for - having a lie in and listening to the radio. Not a lot else to do today other than to go out and get some milk, so I'll go to Lidl and get myself a free cake treat (sticky cinnamon bun hopefully) thanks to their Coupon Plus thing at the same time.

Dullish day with brief sunny spells.
Co-op trek for a cottage pie and hotpot for the freezer twix coffees, well make that three as I knocked the second one over, thankfuly on the table on a vinyl floor.
Washing to dry, think the shirts can go outside but no way will they towels dry out today so the dryer on for those.

Still rainy here. Promised clearing later, in mid-morning. About an inch of rain so far.

Rough night with hip and back pain. MrsF went for a swim at 7am so I got up and repaired one of the legs supporting the decking near our summer house. Removed two deck boards, jacked the joists up and replaced the leg. All done in 30 minutes.

Now in North Wales and MrsF gone for another swim. Lunch soon and she'll probably have another dip before we head home.

No sticky cinnamon buns left so I had to make do with a chocolate cronut. Coffee next and then the bike that got quite mucky the other week will finally get cleaned.

That walk was interesting , walking along the main road I heard a crack behind me at 1st I thought a car had flick a stone or something. Which hit the brick wall next to me, turned round no sign of a stone or brick. But did see egg shell all over the place then I clocked the wall covered in egg. Turns out some total plank had thrown an egg out of a car as I walk past. Luckily they can't throw for toffee aim and timing was way off 3ft short at least.

Back home then a dogless stroll to Tesco for some milk 🐮
I also got a tub of thick double cream for the 25p a punnet strawberries that I got a couple of from work today 👌

Cold feeling afternoon. Shirts dragged in still damp and hung on the open steps of the staircase.
This weeks TV guide sudoku made up for last weeks with the number for the requisite square only being known with two squares needing completing.
