This one's my first attempt at a novel, though I've been messing around with the tropes for quite some time.

A short ride in the rain this morning before a trip to the Vale of Belvoir to check on an ill parent.

This evening I've prepped for race marshalling just outside Wakefield tomorrow morning: https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/events/details/330804/Lewis-Smith-Memorial-Race-2026 I'll be standing with my lollipop at what should be my final event as a 'trainee' marshal.

On late shift so no riding this morning with the club and although tomorrow looks good I put my hand up for overtime tomorrow as you can't turn down double time so I'm hoping the weather will give me chance tomorrow afternoon.
Today is another day of decorating as I have so much to do I could do with a month off work just to get it done.
Cycling is my release but I just don't have the time ATM

Go to Spec Savers and get some rose tinted glasses. You don't need a prescription and everything seems fine once you are wearing them!

We watched four laps of a road race in Belgium yesterday and the bloke there had a much smaller lolipop.

I was wondering what would you do if you were caught out cycling when a massive hail storm sprang up? There were 2 last week which I knew about. The first one hit us and came out of the blue, stones just over 1/4 inch but they came down in all directions so you couldn't shelter behind anything. The second storm happened 8 miles away but this time the stones were golf balls sized! Cars and patios were damaged so not very nice if you were just wearing lycra.
