Ben Hiant with MacLean’s Nose and Sound of Mull leading to Loch Sunart. I have been trying to get these trees removed for a few years now but no joy. Looks like they were left on purpose to spoil the view.

There is a car park and picnic place where I was to take the picture so many do stop there. I had thought it could be a road safety measure but dismissed that idea as being too subtle for our local council.
The entrance and more importantly the exit is placed in the most dangerous spot they could find being about 50 yards from a blind summit on the last lap home when most locals at least have the boot to the floor. This is the area where I mentioned in another post that a speed of over 140mph was allegedly attained just after the road was constructed.
