Mine is a gannet....he once ate a loaf of bread we bought and left in a shopping bag on the floor by mistake - he was in a bread coma for the rest of the day

no he's not a mongrel,he's a cross breed. A combination of two breeds of dog. A mongrel is a dog where the breeds that make it up aren't known. And i didnt pay over the odds for him. I gave his previous owner £50 for him. So there!!

Perhaps the mongrels were responsible for all the white dog shoot,and now that there aren't many mongrels we have a national shortage of white dog shoot?

I’m not quite sure what your point is but Jack is a Jack Russell Terrier.

My point being that some would say that a Jack Russell is a mongrel,as there are so many variations of 'Jack Russells'.
