There are very few thing in the world more satisfying, more gratifying than getting a new bike. The first time you see it, the smell of it, and the touch of it, is like the feeling one has as a lucky child on Christmas morning. For me getting a new bike is far more exciting than getting a new car.

Enjoy your new steed Matthew T, I'm slightly jealous.

Nice to see someone so keen about cycling. Keep it up and keep enjoying it for what it is.

I guarantee (GUARANTEE) it will become your commuter too.

I am a cycling Luddite, but once I'd tried Ergo shifters, nothing else would do.

You will find a reason to use it once for the commute, then once more... then the other bike, for all its good points, will start to feel cumbersome, heavy, uncomfortable.

In fact, somewhere deep in your mind you've already realised that the process has started.

Nice bike. Mine is the 2010 sport version with the Shimano shifters (which I later upgraded from Sora to Tiagra). Good all day comfort riding position.
