While Rapha loses its CEO, MAAP gains a new store in London. Except MAAP calls it a Lab, not a shop. I’m not sure what to make of MAAP’s rise, so I’m curious what you think.
On the one hand, I'm not on board with MAAP’s marketing because it’s fuelling stratospheric prices for cycling clobber. On the other hand, MAAP may be good for engaging younger riders. I heard that MAAP London’s ride-outs get a couple hundred riders, which is many times more than my local club.MAAP Lab London brings together progressive design, community and culture in a space built for a life around bikes. From exclusive product drops and curated rides to events, conversations and creative collaborations, our doors are now open.
