Maybe it's just that Boon's scales need recalibrating?

That's what I expect the scales are naff, the pukka scales are in the UK which are spot on and the ones I used over here to weigh the bike are very old and perhaps knackered..

no need to sell it boon - just do a few upgrades that you feel is required to get the bike how you want it.....some companies just dont put all the correct specs out for every bike and that's what cause some of the issues for the prospective buyer.

get a set of wheel's you like, shod them with the gp4000s that you already use and enjoy it

Went down the Trek shop yesterday in Malaga and they showed me in a book some Bontrager Affinity Pro Disc wheels 1525g @ €856 which at 140€ to the pound is about £615..
Or some Affinity Elite @ €552 which are 1655g at the same rate works out about £400 these are both with good discount so I might have a trip to evans and have a look at them next week while I'm in the UK..
