In 28s, GP 4 Seasons are about 26.5mm on my rims yet the 4000s are getting on for 30. Go figure.

I went for the 4000s IIs (eBay had 'em), arrived and fitted today, forgot just how stubborn Marathon Plus's were, also forgot I went off-road yesterday and how muddy they were.
The 4000s IIs are quite different, so thin and folding tyres are weird.
Haven't ridden it yet, it's Monday and who can be arsed on a Monday. Will tomorrow.
It's a kilogram lighter now so that's something.
