Btw, I was talking to Paul on today`s ride about next weeks Skeggy trip (its on Saturday, not Sunday). I`m not going to do it, because its going to be a heads down thrash fest and that`s not what I want from cycling. The headbangers are in on it and all they care about his their own performance and anyone that cant keep up is just left to fend for themselves.

I`v said on numerous occasions to my closest cycling pals (Paul W and Martin B) that I much prefer going out with you guys because its proper social riding and so much more fun

So, I guess I`ll be seeing you guys on Sunday

I know what you mean , i stopped riding with the fast mercia crew for the same reasons, its was all about the average speed so much they avoided hilly rides and if you couldnt keep up it was bye bye .
I heard today OCC was like that too which is why i havent ridden with them so far .
I would rather go at a steadier pace and have a good time rather than killing myself in search of numbers.

Yeah. I noticed his "fast and flat" (or whatever it was) 100 mile ride on the OCC leader board the other week and thought it was such a great effort, so I gave him a kudos. More than happy to meet up with him on the way to Bozzy at Albert Village clock, all being well

Yeah he’s pretty nippy and hes into his fast n flat rides but also likes steady socials too. That place is just up the road from his house so that might work out sound. Well he said he’s up for it so I’ll relay the information to him and all being well he might touch base with you on strava and arrange accordingly.

Meet 0845 be riding by 0900 back by around 13.30
@PeteXXX we meet at Market Bosworth country park post code cv13 0lp on the road called the park . There is parking here I think it's £4 a day on a pound coin machine you could find free on street parking in the town less than half a mile away .
