Good call Pat.Just mention your wife a couple of times, all will be good, the lady in question will get the gist.
Such as, " My wife's away next weekend"
"My wife doesn't understand me"
Would that do?

Dunno here, my brain must be addled by the paint fumes - I have been decorating all day - but, if I was to be approached by unwanted male attention, and if I was married or with a partner, I would just say " I am married/with partner and I love my husband/partner".when it happen to me, she was a blonde late 30's lithuanian very easy on the eye, I just kept the banter going telling her I was flattered but she must be either mad or desperate and anyway I didn't have the energy for 2 relationships or something along those lines,
Well, yes, it is unwanted female attention.theres a difference between unwanted male attention and being nice to work mates on a daily basis and someone taking it the wrong way and then trying to deal with it in a way that leaves everybody still able to be workmates and work together.
I too work in a Hospital, & are surrounded by the above description of Nurses (as well as short ones, brunettes, various ethnic backgrounds)
Then again, I'm not a catch for anyone!! (I count myself lucky to have found my wife, 30 years ago)
Oh I didn't see the 'n' then.
You can probably tell how my mind works now.
Absolutely: "text me if you like" was a bit of a mixed signal by the op.if she doesn't listen to his explanation and continues then yes but until then she is just a woman who likes someone and is trying to find out if the feelings are mutual...
No offence Dicky, but what the fark are you on about? Now, if I put links to FaceBook pictures, or put them up on here, of some of our more stunning looking staff, you'd see what I mean
I'll readily admit, we have some gorgeous girls, but I'm not interested (even if by some infitessimal chance that they were, in me)
Or, if I added a pic, of my buddy, on her m/bike
Sorry, a bit of a response to 'crackles' mis-readingNo offence Dicky, but what the fark are you on about?
Apparently he did so I'm told.Jesus wept.
you could also block her number from your mobile using either the built in software on your phone or an app that you could download to your phone https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.netqin.mm&hl=en_GB
Suggest this, that should end it quickly enough. You are the second person to use the word "gorgeous", a word I have not used. Of course I am honest, if I'd chanced my arm by giving my number to woman I fancied, who then reacted positively, then I wouldn't be on CC asking for help would I? I'd be in the Shipley Travelodge.
