Carrol Shelby never wanted to fit the 'big block' engine in the Cobra after all the 289 is over 4,500cc and produces plenty of power, the 7 litre engine was too big and heavy so upset the handling of the car.

Probably pushed by Ford, to keep in front of Chevrolet

Very nice, that's the later DC5 model. Still a cracking car in the best colour for one.
