The tent just arrived in the post....

Nice size, only 2.7kg.

Going to be touring with everything in a carry freedom trailer on the back of my road bike (it's got a triple and 12-27 on the back!), keeping it at lightweight as possible - aiming for no more than about 12-15kg for two people.

Couple of trial weekends in the spring and then June/July two week trip down and up the west coast of France. Can't wait, but in the meantime I need to get in good shape to pull the trailer!

are you sure about 2.7kg? I liked the look of your tent and looked on Vango and in that style the lightest was 4kg approx

If you're after a top quality down sleeping bag at a very good price then try: www.alpkit.com. I bought their Pipedream 400 this year, it weighs 780 gms, goes "down" to -5 deg.C and costs £110. It's a brilliant bag for the money. My previous down bag lasted over 20 years.

Not sure if you would be interested, but at our local Decathlon they where selling off last seasons camping gear at knock down prices. Some quite nice camping gear in there.
