Oxford - Cambridge BHF event

Is anybody on CC is participating this event on 27th Sept. I've registered for it. But I realized that, start time is betn 7:00 AM to 9:15 AM, and first train from London reaches there around 9:15 AM.

Not doing it this time, but have done the last two years and got this train. The 9:15 arrival is no problem - you'll just be towards the back of the ride and they leave the route markers up for ages. There will be a bunch of riders on this train anyway and there's always a few other local late starters. By the time you get to the first stop you'll have caught up with a big group of riders. Its a great ride, gutted to be missing it this year.

That's great. It's always better to have people around you while riding. Done London-southend, London-Cambridge this year. This will be my first attempt for 89 miles, previous being @ 60 miles.

Anybody coming to Oxford by train please reply to this post. We can buy group ticket from Paddington.
