I would like to take this time to apoligize to anybody that is cycling with me tomorrow, i have a bloody annoying clicking noise coming from somewhere on my bike when i stand on the pedals, the clicking noise is driving me mad and i have every faith in this clicking noise anybody who hears this noise will also be driving mad


So far i though it was the bottom bracket so i upgraded my bottom bracket the friday before the Etape, it wasn`t tha, i thought it was maybe the pedals so i got brand new pedals, it wasn`t that either....i think it may becoming from the back of the bike

Just took the cleats off, cleaned them all up..will see how that goes if the roads dry up a bit...

I`ve also greased the quick release on the rear wheel incase it was that

@tug benson - Maybe a wee bit of grease on the cleats/pedals ?

Pedal/crank connection needing grease ?

the pedals threads are all greased up, with the receased cleat rubbing sometimes i usually put WD40 on the pedals and the cleats..

hi guys, still trying to decide whether to cycle the whole way from stirling to linthithgow feeder point or to get the train, not sure if my legs will hold out lol, what time is the estimated meet time for linlithgow station?

If you did the ETAPE I will be behind you so I'll be able to pin point the clicking

I had something similar last week, was my foot hitting my pump as its strapped next to it, just a thought

@Rasmus wait for me and my group (or I'll wait for you ha ha!) at the carpark at the end of the path into Edinburgh, because when I went the last time I followed a random cyclist to the meadows, not sure if I could find my way there again because he went a weird route half cycling half walking up one way streets
