Just came across this in another thread and was immediately reminded of several irritating BBC personalities, 'other [INSERT NAME OF PRODUCT HERE] are available.'

"Can I get?" when asking for something at a bar or off a menu.
That phrase really grates with me.

Same here, I believe that is an American phrase that has morphed into our culture..I have come close to snapping at someone-no you cannot get you do not work here but I haven't

"You wouldn't believe what they look like now"

If you click on it, what follows is 20+pages of pictures and adverts you don't wish to see before you disappointedly arrive at the picture you want.
