It can end up that you are paying more to stop your bike being stolen than for the bike itself.
We all know that we can only try and make it as hard as possible to stop our bikes being stolen.
I took drastic action. I moved from Kingston Upon Hull to a sleepy country village out in the wilds of Denmark, where crime is very rare. My biggest deterrent is that my place is hard to find.
If I still lived in the UK I would not be buying expensive bikes, firstly because I could not affoerd to and secondly because I would live in constant fear of it being nicked.
