The arranged date didn't happen. The woman (wheelchair bound) had been becoming ever more excited, her messages ending in suffixes of "x's", turning into"xxxx,s" and then into "Hun+xx's". Then they spoke on the phone, he got message from her shortly after, from memory.......... "Sorry, I got my dates mixed up, I am going away for Easter, it'll have to be after. x" ............One miserable "x".

She then ignored his messages even though she is "live" on the site most at times, IMO it is really rude behaviour especially as she was concerned about her own disability being a potential problem and no doubt she will have suffered similar ignorance because of it.

He's still trying.................

Yeah, that is a shame. He deserves better than that.

I don't mind telling you I've a bit of a lump in my throat and a tear in each eye typing this.

Hope he has better luck next time, at least he has a good friend in you in his corner.

Can understand the concern but I wouldn't overly worry about that sort of thing.
I met my partner through POF, I don't think she would describe herself as having a disability but she has mobility issues due to developmental joint problems and though she can generally get around ok, she can't walk for that long without ending up in pain. Is this a problem? A bit, she can't walk the dog that far so a lot of his exercise is reliant on me, she's never going to join me on a bike ride, some places I would save money and walk to she will drive or get a taxi.
She didn't mention it on her profile, or even raise it in our early dates. She also didn't mention that despite being a rugby fan (one of the things we bonded over) she supports Scotland because her dad is Scottish, or that she hates all seafood and doesn't like tea.

I honestly couldn't say if things would've been different had she mentioned those things in her profile, I'd like to think not but who knows. We're getting married in a couple of weeks so if disclosing stuff would've stopped me replying to her, I'm glad she didn't mention it

EDS / BJHS?

Ehler's Danlos Syndrome or Benign Joint Hypermobility Syndrome.

My wife suffers from these - sounds like similar issues to your wife-to-be.

Oh, no idea...
If she doesn't know about this, worth having a read and seeing a specialist before you start a family. Might be a long way off now, but more serious problems can start in pregnancy. However with the right physio treatment and an understanding of the issue, no reason why you shouldn't. We did, and had good support, and don't regret it for a minute.

In the mean time, just concentrate on getting married and preparing for life together. My wife is lovely - I have spent far too much time away from her enjoying myself ski-ing, cycling, and walking, and she has been behind it all the way.

Update:-

The good news - He has a girlfriend. She is from the Philippines.
The bad news - He just paid for a month long holiday for them both, she has control of his finances, he has no money left and there is no physical relationship
