Doug is trying to arrange the rescue of a bull on Mount Everest.

Reports confirm that the steaks have never been higher.

Stephec tells me that in order to soothe the beast and reduce tenseness, Sherpas have started singing to the Bull.

Yes, it's true, as it's a technique called 'Sherpa Tensing'.

MDB got a spud gun yesterday for his 12th birthday

Despite trying to improve on himself ever since, TBT was in 'Spud English' at school.
---------

P.S. I cannot remember exactly what I got for my 12th, but the main thing was undoubtedly money, which I would have bought a model loco with.

Actually, what I bought was probably either Hornby's 'Britannia' class, 70004 'William Shakespere', or the GWR '5700' Class, 5728, which had a smoke generator and was the reason I wanted it.
This, as it transpired, stank the place out and just caused a right mess with the oil it burned on an element at the bottom of the funnel (another one of Hornby's more questionable innovations). It did have a lit firebox effect though! 🤣

Hello decadence
Doug, speaking as a 44 year and one day old, train spotter has a penchant for any train by Robert Riddles, particularly train number 72008.

(which he didn't know was called Clan MacLeod)

Doug has a thing about the City of Litchfield. It was there that Doug once asked a conductor how many times a train he was on had been derailed. The conductor said it was hard to keep track.

I'm no spotter now, I haven't taken the numbers in ages.
Also, I knew that loco was a 'Clan', but didn't know which one, so not a lie.

Having been a voiceferous exponent for Monorails over the decades, sometimes in a minority of 1, Rocky really DOES have a one track mind.
