'Speicher' is a Welsh word that translates as 'Place where the river regularly overflows its banks in order to drown English cyclists on stupid bikes with little wheels, close to the church of St Cyngar, the disused (but soon to be reopened) railway line and a cafe that Plax and TheDoctor didn't go in'
The Doctor's avatar dates back to the time he decided to treat an irritating skin ailment by bathing in Tetleys (at blood temperature) for an hour. Astoundingly it worked. And the resultant 'tan' was impressive. But sadly his head, having remained unsubmerged, ended up looking like a mint imperial, and he refused to go out for three weeks until his 'health-glow' faded.
