I see the need to examine the groceries crosses species. Madam Lexi takes those duties VERY seriously...

It is of the utmost importance.. No bag entering the house can be left unsniffed!
It's in the rules.. 👍

Made a mess of trying to quote you @PeteXXX , sorry, but I've come on here to post this photo and saw your lovely dogs on your post.

Our beloved dog passed away in January aged fourteen and a half. On Saturday ( my wife's birthday and the 15th anniversary of when we bought him) we finally got another Bichon. Here he is with the picture of our old one.

He is an absolute and utter lunatic, the spitter of our old dog in mannerisms etc, and bought us total joy. They really are an amazing breed of dog.

They're lovely pets though ours is a bit nervous but definitely has her bonkers moments!
She'll be 4 in a couple of weeks 👍

The way they jump over things never stops making me laugh. Somewhere I've got a great photo of our much missed one clearing the back step.

When I came home from work I used to make a silly noise, lie on the floor and count to 10. He'd come running full tilt, wagging his whole back end and licking me non-stop! His nephew (its not really his nephew, we just pretend!) likes to nip at any part of your skin and launchs himself at you with his mouth fully open 🤣🤣

I've got a new rescue cat having lost old Harry at the start of the month
Monty, a very cute but very nervous 2 yr old ginger who's had a horrible time
Eating well, using the litter tidily in his settling in room (my spare!)
I'm besotted
