Made a mess of trying to quote you @PeteXXX , sorry, but I've come on here to post this photo and saw your lovely dogs on your post.
Our beloved dog passed away in January aged fourteen and a half. On Saturday ( my wife's birthday and the 15th anniversary of when we bought him) we finally got another Bichon. Here he is with the picture of our old one.
He is an absolute and utter lunatic, the spitter of our old dog in mannerisms etc, and bought us total joy. They really are an amazing breed of dog.

They're lovely pets though ours is a bit nervous but definitely has her bonkers moments!
She'll be 4 in a couple of weeks 👍
Does she do the 'bichon blitz'? Ours has started already and its so funny to watch.
Yep.. Come back from a 3 to 4 mile walk & she'll do 3 circuits of the garden, 2 of the house & end up on the back of the settee panting like a loony 😂
