Nip over to Rochdale Station. Jump on the Leeds train. Bob Jacksons is just down the road from the station at Bramley. £115 for a respray. One of the lads at Bury CTC did this. £6 for a train ticket.

They do a good job too. I used to drop frames off on the way back when I regularly went to Harrogate on business, and they posted them to me when done. I hate wrapping frames!

Thought so, sadly no longer. Might have to use Bob Jackson.

Nope they are still in business, I was in there yesterday dropping a respray off!

However they have stopped doing most of the regular bike shop stuff like selling bikes, apart from their own.

A few people I know have used https://ashtonpowdercoating.co.uk/ They can blast it, powder coat and lacquer it for you. They do a wide range of colours and a really nice candy red that a friend of mine had done! Ball park figure of £50 to have it shot blasted and powdre coated in a "normal" colour.
I had my steel framed bike done 4 years ago by a local company, and although they did a good job, I had to clear all the threads myself, which was a pain.
