www.starleybikes.com in Altrincham Cheshire/Greater Manchester for custom bikes in any colour/design you like, they have their own custom paint guy.

I have been in their store (very small) & it is very much a personal experience, one to one stuff.

There is a beautiful JKS AR (integrated seat post) in there in the Gulf Racing colours of the 70's (blue & orange) & a hand painted design by a French artist, I think these were displayed at the British Cycle Show.

They do have other models in none ISP & a stainless steel model too.

Van Nicholas have some beautiful & understated titanium frames as do Genesis (which you know) & both have levels of craftsmanship rarely seen outside of custom builders.

What about Planet-X? Usually fairly understated and undeniably cool ... fit the bill as an all-round commuter?

I think all the Genesis bikes are sexy, but I already have one and feel I should buy something different for my second bike. Orrrr I could just be a total Genesis whore?

If I liken this to cars we have the cycling equivalent of Fiat 500 in pink, Rolls Royce in pearl white, Gold Subaru Impreza, silver Ford Focus and 12 year old Golf. In other words, horses for courses
