I'm off to Leeds in a few weeks for the night, probably staying in the Easy Hotel and most likely in need of a hearty breakfast when i check out... so can anyone recommend a good full-english?

I've got my eye on Whitelock's Ale House for my supper... anyone know it or want to recommend somewhere else in the city centre?

cheers

Does it have to be a pub?
Do you like curry? This place is lovely but you’ll probably need to book

I'm liking the look of A Nation of Shopkeepers for supper.

I much prefer pub grub to restaurants, due to my lowly social class :okay:

is there a cafe in the market that does a full english?

What night? Good luck with getting served in Whitelocks on a Fri/Sat night.^_^ It's a Leeds institution and well worth seeing is that interior.

Yes, plenty of cafes do breakfast in the market and that is where I would go. Pint prices can often outstrip London, I looked at a receipt for once this summer and found that me & MrsF had been paying £12.60 for a pint of Amstel lager & glass of house white wine, x4! When I checked that day, of all the bars we went in, only one came to less than a tenner for those 2 drinks, that was The Scarborough Hotel at £9.60. Cheap pints? You'll have to stick with the 3 Spoons and the 3 or 4 Samuel Smiths.

I like Iberica at night for Spanish food, the interior is stunning, I went to the toilets and didn't want to leave. It has a front and rear bar too if you just want look and drink. Viva across the bridge is a good traditional value Italian. But, you have 100's of places to choose from.:okay:

I've had a good brunch at Cosy Club before (right in the shopping area)

Wednesday. I take it it's a popular place then.

My 2 favourite places for evening are Bundobust and Friends of Ham. Can't really recommend for breakfast but you'll definitely get a fry up on the market.

I spent Saturday night at The Queen's hotel at Leeds station. It was ghastly, just filthy, shabby, dark and in need of being knocked down and rebuilt.
