Because the alternative is rather deflating.People get so pumped up about pumps
Seals fail.Er... that seal may be exposed to extreme cold for about a minute a year. How is that going to mess it up?
I own three of its predecessor\sibling the Road Drive. They have their flaws when used with certain types of tube.^^ That one. I have three of them.
Can I ask what attracts you to a solution that is less reliable, more expensive and worse for the environment than the one you already have?
If you carry only Co2 how do you get the tube "started" so it doesn't get trapped under the bead? Or is we all tubeless these days?
Not considered that as an option tbh.You can just use a tiny bit of CO2 to get started, but I generally inflate with my mouth first, but then again I do that at home with a track pump.
Not considered that as an option tbh.
Just buy one good pumpEnvironmentally I would say that the impact is pretty similar judging by the number of mini-pumps I have had to throw away.
Why not just resolve the helmet debate as well? When you've sorted the CO2 vs Handpump debate could you all move on to the Arab - Isreali conflict before resolving the "best tyre" argument.
