I replaced the pads on my rear disc brake yesterday. While I was faffing about, trying to pusk the pistons back out, some of the brake fluid leaked out. Luckily none seems to have got onto the pads, but my rear brake seems very puny now. Is it just that I have to top up the brake fluid, or could it be something else?

Sounds like a brake bleed is in order. Where did the fluid leak from? if it was from the edge of the pistons and they don't seal tightly then you may have damaged them. If not then you should be fine with a fluid refill and bleed. Cross fingers on the latter.
